OK, this is a bit annoying.  This afternoon I was totally brimming with blog post ideas … but it was time to go to work.  Since I am on spring break I figured I’d pick up an extra night at work.  So I was out driving around in a thunderstorm and rain for four hours LOL I look like a bedraggled drowned rat but made some killer money in tips because of it.

Now I am home, have managed to dry off and eat something, and sit down at the keyboard … and can’t think of a single great idea I had before work!  All I can remember was thinking I didn’t need to write them down on the back of the gas bill envelope, because how could I possibly forget such great ideas?  So much for that….

I did go on a blog carnival submitting spree over the weekend.  I think I submitted to half a dozen carnivals, and the two biggest in the PF blogosphere posted today.  The Baglady hosted the 142nd Carnival of Personal Finance, with a homeless theme and included my post How I Got Out of Consumer Debt: THE BUDGET.  My PF blogging hero NCN hosted the 129th Carnival of Debt Reduction and listed my Officially DEBT FREE but the House post first, along with his congratulations.  More blog carnivalling as the week progresses.

On to an even funner (more fun?) blog event: The annual “March Madness” at Free Money Finance, where right now my post You CAN Get Out of Debt is doing quite well in the first round.  It looks like I’ll be up against Lynnae’s post It Hit Me Like A Ton of Bricks later in the week, so I may need to “rally the troops” for that battle.

Finally, I know several of y’all were expecting a bloggin’ blitz since I am on spring break LOL  Well … I actually HAVE been writing a bunch of blog posts.  They just aren’t going to all be posted on this site :)  Since my big DEBT FREE announcement heard at least around this corner of the blogosphere, I’ve been given the opportunity to write guest posts for a handful of other blogs.  The first one actually went up Saturday over at Gather Little By Little, and since I forgot to title my post he simply called it “On Becoming Debt Free.”  Good title, Gibble!  I’ve also sent a guest post to Jesse at the Penny Saved and an email interview to David at My Two Dollars, so keep an eye out for those.  I’ve agreed to write a guest post for NCN’s No Credit Needed Network, which is the source of those cool debt reduction pie charts you see all over the PF blogosphere.  I had planned to write that tonight LOL but as explained above, I have totally forgotten every idea I had previously.
