Relating with Money and Cash-Flow Planning
Tonight was all business as far as the taping went! We again got started a little late, this time due to an accident on the road that held several in the audience up. My favorite Financial Peace University lesson was up first: Relating with Money. Dave Ramsey had a few new sight jokes to add to the class, but most of his verbal stories were the same…but this time, after declaring he truly believes the woman makes the man, he brought his wife Sharon out for us to applaud! And Sharon Ramsey deserves that applause and more.
Another fun twist came at the end of the Relating with Money class, when Dave’s daughter Rachael came out to do her “Why it’s so tough being Dave Ramsey’s kid” routine. She also backed up her dad’s lessons about kids, saying she saved over $8,000 towards her first car…and her dad had promised to match her dollar for dollar!
I’d love to talk about the Cash-Flow Planning lesson…but I had a small problem and wasn’t able to really watch it. During the intermission between the classes I went out to my truck to snack on the potato chips I brought…and left my keys in the cupholder. I didn ‘t realize this until AFTER I had locked and shut the truck! So, I spent most of the Cash-Flow Planning lesson waiting on the locksmith and paying $79 in STUPID TAX LOL It’s going to all work out for the best, as my co-worker called me as I was leaving the Nashville metro area to ask if she could come over and watch the old Cash-Flow Planning video, and this way she can fill in the blanks as she watches it ![]()
